Mary-Kate Olsen (born June 13, 1986) is an American model, actress, fashion designer writer, producer, and businesswoman. She co-founded luxury fashion brand The Row, Elizabeth and James along with the more affordable lines Olsenboye and StyleMint alongside her fraternal twin sister Ashley Olsen. Olsen started acting on her own as an adult in 2012. She is the older sister of actress Elizabeth Olsen. Mary-Kate Olsen grew up within Sherman Oaks. Her parents were Jarnette, "Jarnie", who worked as a personal assistant and David, "Dave", an estate developer and mortgage lender. Together with her twin sister, Ashley her parents have an older brother, Trent, a younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, and two half-siblings born from the second marriage her father had with his wife. Olsen's mother and father divorced in the year 1996. Madison Pettis, a Disney actress from the mid 1990s through the in the mid 2000s. After appearing in Barney & Friends from 2005 through the year 2006, Pettis got an even greater break when she starred as the lost daughter of the rock's quarterback character in The Game Plan. Madison Michelle Pettis was born on the 22nd July 1998, in Arlington, Texas. Her dad was African American and her mother is of Italian, French, and Irish origin.
